The Royal Navy and e3 have been awarded Best Information Experience awards at the 2016 UXUK Awards. The UXUK awards recognise the best user experiences online, with their expert panel of industry peers and rigorous analysis of the entries, it truly is one of the most respected awards in digital.

The Royal Navy Graduates section was created collaboratively across e3’s UX, Creative and Strategy departments to implement a digital experience that would serve the Navy for years to come. With such a complex and varied organisation like the Navy, and such a complex and varied target audience it was clear that the nuances of the content and UX were going to be what made this a success.

The Royal Navy Graduates section has already been praised for its UX this year with The Times Graduates Recruitment Award win commenting “The dynamic photography and well-organised information gave job hunters a realistic and exciting insight into the broad range of careers on offer in the Royal Navy.”

Competing against heavyweight competition from Cancer Research UK and the Financial Times this has been a great success for e3. Lead UX Consultant James Lock said “This award is a testament to the careful and considered process and research that was conducted to create The Royal Navy Graduates section. We’re delighted to be recognised by our esteemed peers and continue creating digital experiences that delight and inform users.”
