The first half of 2016 was filled with some of the prestigious award nominations in the industry, and we’re happy to report that halfway through we’re still going strong with another nom under our belt. This time we’ve been recognised for our social media work for The Royal Navy at the Digital Impact Awards.
The Digital Impact Awards rewards the most inventive, emphatic and absorbing campaigns run from a digital platform. Last year, we were recognised for our work on the Unicef Child Right’s Launch Pad with a silver award win. We’re delighted that this year, our award-winning work on the Royal Navy Engineers Social campaign has been recognised in the ‘Best use of existing social media platforms’ in the medium budget category.
The Royal Navy Engineers campaign was a collaborative effort across e3’s social media, UX, front-end, client services and creative teams and culminated in some excellent results for the Royal Navy.
Focused on finding the very best potential Engineers in the UK we created an interactive landing site, taking a mobile-first approach to get into our audience’s pockets. The experience served up bite-sized content that encouraged the user to get under the skin of all aspects of life as a Royal Navy engineer. This was played out in social campaigns through images, videos and text to drive interaction and traffic to the landing site. By focussing on the engineer as an individual, the campaign was able to create a connection with budding candidates.
